Welcome to Kickass.org, a web-based scoring system, featuring real-time stats and charts, for use with all multi-player deathmatch games.
What Is Kickass?
The purpose of Kickass is merely to track deathmatch results for posterity and bragging rights. Its origins come from slayer games not having continuous match tracking capabilities when sourced by a pool of players. At one point in the history of time, the desire for such came about, but was unsatisfactorily met by an Excel spreadsheet, and, subsequently, the idea of Kickass came into being.
How Does Kickass Work?
To track your deathmatch scores, first create a new deathmatch in the Kickass system. There is a minimum of required fields necessary for statistical purposes, and these may be updated at any time after creation. Once saved, players have been entered, and you've logged into your deathmatch, the overview page will feature a link to the "current round." On the current round page, the selected players all have fields to enter their frags, deaths, and suicides. Frags are the minimum result required to enter a score, though deaths and suicides, if available, are recommended for proper ranking. (If deaths or suicides are not entered for a player, they are entered as 0.) Upon submission of a round's scores, the next round's players will be selected and displayed automatically. The round select process will continue indefinitely until all players reach the maximum rounds allowed, or until the deathmatch is abandoned or closed.
